ABOUT WILLIS

WILLIS WHITE found the microphone during his first church solo at the age of 3.  His vocal range spans five octaves and he has a keen ear for deciphering, locking and improvising harmonies. Vocally, Willis' musical styles span from gospel, soul and R&B to acappella, classical, jazz, Broadway, electronic and modern pop.

Willis has appeared as a lead in Tony Award winning Broadway shows Hairspray, Spelling Bee and In the Heights. Willis has also served as live support vocalist for hit television shows including American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and Duets.

 

Willis continues to perform internationally, collaborate on studio projects as songwriter, session artist and vocal arranger, coach vocals, teach parts, speak at aspiring young artists events, and guest conduct ensembles.
